Fifteen-year-old guitar student, Donald Hinchman, placed third in the high school division of the 2021 Florida Guitar Festival and Competition, held October 15-17th in Tallahassee, FL. Donald currently studies with MLE program director Dr. Ben Lougheed and has been part of the MLE Suzuki guitar program for the last three years.
The Florida Guitar Festival and Competition is an annual event which exists to build community, increase professionalism, and to educate within the classical guitar world by bringing a yearly competition experience to the Tallahassee area that includes high-quality masterclasses, multi-division competitions, and concerts by highly revered classical guitarists.
