Music Lessons Express is thrilled to announce that guitar student Himank Chhaya won first prize in the intermediate division of the 8th Annual Latino Arts International Guitar Festival Competition. Himank is a student of MLE program director Dr. Ben Lougheed and has been part of the Suzuki guitar program for more than five years. A 7th-grader at Fairview Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida, Himank recently played in a masterclass for GRAMMY winner Bill Kanengiser. Himank also loves to write and self-published his first book, Formidable Foes, in Fall 2020.
