Suzuki Violin Retreat

June 2-3, 9AM-3PM (extended hours available), Ages 4-12, $99

A two-day immersive workshop designed for students interested in violin. 4-6 year old students will get a “jump start” on violin lessons- no prior experience required. Instruction will focus on building foundational violin technique, general music concepts, and fine motor skills. 7-12 year olds should be able to play a minimum of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” fluently on the violin and will receive daily private lessons, workshops on rock violin and fiddling, and music theory designed for the budding violinist. Registration opens March 1st.

Instrument Safari

June 5-9 and July 17-21, 9AM-3PM (extended hours available), Ages 5-7, $199

A jungle-themed exploration of all things music! Students will have hands-on interaction with a variety of musical instruments including the double bass, guitar, violin, drum kit, and many more! Other activities include musical arts and crafts, movement games, and an introduction to reading music. This is a great camp for students who are interested in starting private lessons but aren’t sure which instrument they would like to study. Registration opens March 1st.

Rockstar Recording Camp, Jr.

June 19-23, 9AM-3PM (extended hours available), ages 7-9, $199

Record your own hit single using our state-of-the-art recording software! Students will receive instruction on guitar, keyboard, and drums and learn how to use Garageband software to record their own album. This camp always fills up fast, so register quickly! Registration opens March 1st.

Summer Jazz Workshop

July 10-14, 9AM-3PM (extended hours available), ages 13-17, $199

This week long jazz workshop allows students to perform in a jazz ensemble, learn how to improvise, study theory and more. The program ends in a concert showcasing the students performing authentic jazz music. Students should have basic proficiency on piano, guitar/bass, drums, or wind instrument. Registration opens March 1st.

Sight Reading Boot Camp

June 24-25, 2PM-4PM, ages 12-17, $30

Professional mezzo-soprano Kendra Wieneke will lead students through this workshop on the basics of sight reading. The course is suitable for any students interested in developing their music reading skills, including those interested in preparing for school, community, and college auditions. Topics will include basics of note reading, rhythm, solfege, and practical strategies for successfully singing music on the first try. Open to students of all instruments and ability levels. Registration opens March 1st.   

Fiddling Workshops with Tom Morley

Spend an afternoon learning traditional fiddling techniques with guest artist Tom Morley. Incredibly versatile as a performer, Mr. Morley has shared the stage with Pete Fountain, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick, Jr., and Yo-Yo Ma. He toured for five years with country artist John Anderson and did two European tours as a jazz violinist w
ith the New Orleans Jazz All-Stars. Mr. Morley currently performs and records with his Irish Trad duo Banna de dhá and the band Mithril. Also an active educator, Mr. Morley is a Road Scholar for the University of South Alabama, a faculty member at the Mark O’Connor String Method Camp, and has published his own fiddling method books. 


Fiddle Workshop- June 3rd, 1:00pm-3:00pm ($25)

Beginning violin students will play from 1:00-2:00pm

Intermediate violin students will play from 2:00-3:00pm

Students will be sorted into beginning and intermediate groups based on the piece they are currently studying with their private instructor.

Deadline to register is May 1. 

Fiddle Masterclasses- June 3rd, 3:30pm-6:30pm ($25)

Students will receive a 30 minute individual session with Tom Morley. The sessions will be open to observation. 6 spaces available.
