Q: How do I pay for lessons?
A: We accept credit cards, debit cards, refillable credit/debit cards, and you can link directly to your bank account.
Q: How often do I pay?
A: Families are billed on the first of every month for the entire month’s lessons.
Q: Does MLE pro-rate the monthly tuition?
A: We will pro-rate a student’s first month of lessons if they start mid-month, but that is the only instance where we can change or adjust the tuition.
Q: How many lessons will I get every month?
A: Each student receives an average of 4 lessons a month, however some months you will get 5 lessons while others you will only get 3.
Q: What if I miss a lesson?
A: As long as you let your instructor know that you will be missing the lesson at least 24-hours beforehand, the lesson will be made up at the instructor’s earliest convenience. If you do not give the instructor 24-hours’ notice about missing a lesson, then it will not be made up. Lessons missed due to Holiday closures will not be made up.
Q: Does a parent need to be at every lesson?
A: Parents need to be present for in-home lessons with children under the age of 18. While parents are encouraged to attend lessons at the MLE Studio, they are not required to be there once the lesson starts; however, we find that students learn faster when their parents regularly attend the lessons. They will need to stay with the child in the Studio Lobby until the instructor is ready for the lessons.
Q: Can I take a month off from lessons if my family is traveling?
A: Families are allowed to drop lessons for a month or more if they are traveling, however, they will have to pay the registration fee when they return, and their lesson time and previous instructor are not guaranteed to be the same.
Q: What if I want to stop lessons?
A: To drop lessons, either for a short period of travel or permanently, you will need to notify the office in writing, either by email or letter, before the next billing period (first of the month).
