Congratulations to MLE student Ethan Cannon on competing with his chamber group as part of the Lafayette Arts Music Program. This weekend, Ethan’s chamber ensemble travelled to the University of South Carolina for the eleventh annual Chamber Music Day and High School String Quartet Competition. Ethan’s ensemble performed the Barber String Quartet in B Minor, Op. 11 for this event. The competition took place at the USC School of Music, judged and coached by the Parker Quartet and USC string faculty members. Ethan is a student of MLE Director Natasha Marsalli. We could not be prouder of our students and their hard work and dedication!
