We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of four talented violin students from Music Lessons Express who have earned spots in the 2025 Leon County All-District Orchestra! Please join us in congratulating Pavit Patel, Charlie Liem, Maxwell VanLandingham, and Stafford VanLandingham on this achievement.
The All-District Orchestra is a highly competitive honor ensemble with only the top 22 violinists in the high school category and the top 24 in the middle school category being selected. This speaks to their dedication, skill, and musical excellence.
Pavit Patel, a high school sophomore, will be representing the Florida State University Schools (FSUS) Orchestra Program. Charlie Liem, a 6th-grader, is the only student from the School of Arts and Sciences to earn a place in the All-District Orchestra. Maxwell and Stafford VanLandingham, both homeschooled, will represent the Tallahassee Homeschool Symphony Orchestra program.
Pavit and Charlie study with Natasha Marsalli as part of the North Florida Suzuki School, while Maxwell and Stafford study with Erika Sciascia at Music Lessons Express.
The Leon County All-District Orchestra offers students the chance to work with guest clinicians over the course of several rehearsals, culminating in a concert on April 12, 2025, at the Chiles High School auditorium. It’s sure to be an inspiring and memorable performance!
We are incredibly proud of these four violinists and their hard work, and we can’t wait to see them shine on stage!
