MLE violin students Sreyas Narayan and Chinonso Okoli performed in the 2022 FMEA Honors Orchestras Florida Music Educator Conference, held in Tampa, Florida. The FMEA Honors Orchestras consist of the top middle and high school orchestra students in the state of Florida. Students are selected for the ensembles based on the nominations of their school orchestra directors. Both Sreyas and Chinonso are students in the orchestra program at Florida State University Schools and were nominated by their director, Terice Allen. Sreyas Narayan is a student in the Suzuki violin studio at MLE and has studied with executive director Natasha Marsalli since 2012. Chinonso Okoli has been a violin student at MLE since 2010 and currently studies with instructor Hunter Sanchez.
