With dozens of film and theatre credits to his name, including X-men, Miami Vice, and the off-Broadway tour of “Evita,” Tallahassee-based actor and vocal coach David Joseph Martinez will be hosting a series of workshops designed to help the budding performer book gigs, hone their audition skills, and achieve their professional goals.
Dec. 2: 6:30 PM-9:30 PM (Adults, Ages 26+)
Dec. 3: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM (Teens, Ages 12-17)
Dec. 3: 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM (Young Professionals, Ages 18-25)
All workshops to be held at the Music Lessons Express Annex, 2708 Apalachee Parkway. Cost is $40 per session. 75% of the proceeds will go to Mr. Martinez’s non-profit group Choral Connections.

Attendees should prepare and bring two contrasting monologues (serious and comedic), OR a song (16 bars), OR a dance piece (1 minute), OR stand-up/mime routine (2 minutes).
