Luxmi performs “Humoresque” at an MLE masterclass

Violin student Luxmi Narayan, 15, has won a position with the 2020 Indo-European Chamber Orchestra and will be performing as one of their violinists at the Danube Palace in Budapest on August 8th, 2020. A freshman at Florida State University Schools, Luxmi has been part of the MLE Suzuki Violin Program for eight years, where she studies with Natasha Marsalli.

The Indo-European Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble whose mission is to unite Indian musicians from around the world and to perform both Western art music and raga-based music written for Western-styled orchestras. Directed by composer and conductor, Michael Makhal, IECO is the first Indian orchestra to perform Western classical music in Europe.
